Open pipe jacking machines are suitable for waterless and stable soil layers, and are directly excavated by humans; slurry balance and earth pressure balance pipe jacking machines use pressure balance technology to avoid ground collapse under complex geological conditions to ensure construction safety and efficiency. The two together constitute the key equipment system for underground engineering construction, and are widely used in major infrastructural parts construction such as subways, municipal pipe networks, and water conservancy.
