Carbon steel structural parts of steam turbine guide ring As a key component of steam turbine, it is mainly divided into steam inlet guide ring and exhaust guide ring, which plays an extremely important role in the operation of steam turbine.
Its structural design is unique. Taking the exhaust guide ring as an example, it is commonly composed of a left half guide ring and a right half guide ring. The two ends of the ring body of the right half guide ring are provided with connecting columns, and the corresponding position of the left half guide ring is provided with a connecting head. This design makes installation more convenient, the connection surface is increased, and the connection is more secure. At the same time, on the left and right half guide rings, there are correspondingly arranged several screw holes with uniform intervals and arranged from top to bottom for installing bolts. In some designs, special structural partss are also provided in the screw holes, such as accommodating grooves, card slots and rotatable limit rods on the bolts, which effectively prevent the bolts from falling off during work and enhance the stability of the guide ring. In addition, the exhaust guide ring may also be equipped with positioning pins and positioning holes to further facilitate installation.
In terms of material selection, the guide ring is made of carbon steel. Carbon steel has good mechanical properties and can withstand the impact and pressure caused by exhaust steam during the operation of the steam turbine, ensuring the stable operation of the guide ring under complex working conditions. It is relatively low in cost and has a high cost performance ratio.
The guide ring plays a key role in the steam turbine. The exhaust steam guide ring is located on both sides of the low-pressure cylinder. Its main function is to make full use of the kinetic energy of the exhaust steam, reduce the loss of hot gas flow, and improve the energy efficiency of the steam turbine; the steam inlet guide ring is located in the middle of the low-pressure cylinder, which can guide the inlet steam to both sides, reduce the axial thrust of the rotor, ensure the smooth operation of the turbine rotor, and extend the service life of the equipment.
